About the event

Join local Oakhill volunteer Catrina and farmer Jemma (Feed You Farm) for a Wednesday community workshop making passata with farmer Clare's tomatoes and basil from the Melbourne Food Hub Farm. 

Cat will be sharing her Calabrian family tradition of making passata and each attendee will go home with one jar to use fresh or boil at home for preserving. 

Jemma and Cat will also bring in their pasta machines and make fresh egg fettuccine for lunch with napoli sauce, and make a salad from Oakhill's food forest garden. Figs are in abundance and we will share them as snacks! All are welcome! BYO clean passata jars.
