Book a Corporate Volunteering Activity at one of Sustain's three Urban Farms
Urban agriculture - the practice of growing food in suburbs and cities, in backyards and balconies, on verges and in schools - is crucial in mitigating the impacts of climate change, connecting people to nature, and addressing the rising cost of living.
Sustain’s urban farm network supports local urban agriculture by providing hands-on learning opportunities for the community while contributing to food security in the city of Darebin.
By holding your next corporate volunteering activity at one of Sustain’s urban farms, you’ll be coming together around local and accessible fruit and veg while enjoying the benefits of time spent in nature and learning how to grow healthy food as a team.
During the half-day session your team will also learn:
-
How Sustain’s urban farms contribute to fighting food insecurity in the city of Darebin.
-
How to start and maintain your own garden with hands-on activities like sowing seeds, planting seedlings, weeding and composting.
-
The importance of pollinator and biodiversity gardens.
Each half-day activity includes morning or afternoon tea picked straight from the garden with an assortment of local baked goods.

Leave feeling renewed, invigorated, and with a sense of shared enthusiasm!
